Angela Eakin, MD, MS, DipABLM is double board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She has over a decade of clinical experience in in-patient care, outpatient primary care and in academic medicine. Prior to her career in medicine, she trained and participated in clinical nutrition research that led to presentations at national conferences and multiple publications. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. She is also a senior medical editor for the textbook Nutrition Guide for Clinicians. Along with Dr. Apseloff, she leads the experienced research team at OCT. Together they give each project the detailed attention it deserves. She too has been highly involved in every aspect of clinical trials at OCT, including regulatory activities, quality assurance, quality control, investigational product management, and personally reviewing completed source documents.
