Angela Eakin, MD, MS, DipABLM, DABOM is board certified in family medicine, lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine. She has over a decade of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient adult and pediatric care. She has served as clinical faculty for multiple medical schools and at a family medicine residency program Prior to her medical career she trained and participated in clinical nutrition research which led to multiple publications and presentations at national conferences. She is a senior medical editor for the textbook Nutrition Guide for Clinicians.

She has completed the accredited Principal Investigator course through Evolution Research Group and participates in their Scientific Leadership Team.

Dr. Eakin currently leads the extensively experienced research team at Ohio Clinical Trials (OCT) that has over 30 years of experience with complex Phase 1 trials. Additionally, she has overseen the expansion of the site taking on Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials across a variety of pharmaceutical indications. Since her appointment as Principal Investigator in 2023 she has been highly involved in every aspect of clinical trial design at OCT including regulatory activities, quality assurance, quality control, and investigational product management.
